Hi, I'm Anaiah Rose, I'm hoping to receive assistance to be able to attend the Secular Student Alliance National Conference in July 2025, where students from all over the country will be gathering to engage with topics related to secular activism and to learn from speakers like Sasha Sagan and Forrest Valkai. I'm very much looking forward to seeing presentations from speakers like this who have motivated me to become involved in activism related to maintaining the separation of church and state and protecting scientific inquiry.

I am reaching out to inquire about the possibility of receiving funding support from your organization to help cover costs associated with attending SSA Con 2025. Here is a summary of costs for me to attend (I've excluded the cost of travel from this since the SSA will reimburse 100% of the cost of gas for all carpools):

- Conference registration - $59

- Cost of on-campus housing, $40 a night for 3 nights - $120

Estimated total cost of attendance: $180

Any amount of support that you can provide would be much appreciated and a big help!

ABOUT Summer Conference 2025 :: Support A Student

Secular Student Alliance 2025 Student Leadership Conference
July 17-19, 2025   at the University of Cincinnati

The Secular Student Alliance conference is the largest gathering of secular students in the country. For students and the entire secular community, this unique conference experience blends amazing speakers, grassroots organizing, and leadership enrichment, with a secular perspective.

The best way to ensure a secular future is to invest in secular youth. Imagine when you were a student having a unique opportunity like this conference to network with other students, develop your leadership skills, and strengthen your secular values.

We recognize that not every student is in a position where they can be open about their secularism, and we are working to change this. When you donate, you enable our students to live out their secular activism. You amplify their voices, help tell their stories, and reward them for their hard work. Some of our students’ families do not support them because they are nonreligious. Many of our students do not come from families who can afford to travel across the country.  You may be the difference between a student being able to attend the national conference, or not.
